How Much Do E-Bikes Cost?
Electric bikes will range in their pricing. As with all bikes, you can pretty much pay as much as you want when looking at the higher end.
However, the starting point for an electric bike is understandably higher as more technology and materials go into them, due to having a motor.

Are E-Bikes Expensive?
Although e-bikes may seem expensive in terms of one off payment, they are actually pretty well priced overall.
To put it in context, a mid range road bike will set you back around £3000, but for the same amount you can get yourself a really rather snazzy electric bike with great components and a high quality motor.
Not only that but when considering the cost of an e-bike to a car, overall you could arguably save a lot. First off, you don’t need to put fuel into an e-bike, you just need to charge it, which is cheaper than petrol or diesel.
And for the equivalent, a car of that price will likely need work on it, will incur tax and also needs to be insured and MOT’ed. Therefore you’ll have already saved yourself a bunch of money from the off just in terms of transport when opting for an electric bike.
